Andean Wood-Fired Sauna Experience
Step into the warmth of an authentic Andean sauna — hand-built from wood and powered by the natural energy of fire and local herbs.
Our wood-fired sauna is more than just relaxation; it’s a journey of purification and balance inspired by ancient Andean traditions.
As the fire heats the stones, the air fills with the natural aroma of eucalyptus, muña, and mint. The steam gently opens your pores, helping your body release toxins and find inner harmony. You’ll feel the soothing power of the earth, the fire, and the mountain air working together to restore your energy and calm your mind.
This experience is perfect for travelers seeking a deep connection with nature, relaxation after a long hike, or simply a moment of peace under the Andean sky.
Come and feel the ancient warmth that heals from the inside out.
Total duration: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
Location: Surrounded by pure Andean nature and peaceful silence Sky Dome Peru.
We begin by lighting the wood fire that gently heats the natural stones inside our handmade wooden sauna.
As the fire grows, you can enjoy the crackling sound of the wood and the comforting scent of smoke blending with the fresh mountain air.
Once the stones are hot, we place local medicinal herbs—such as eucalyptus, muña, and mint—over them.
The heat releases their essential oils, filling the sauna with soothing natural aromas.
Inside the sauna, your body begins to sweat and release toxins naturally.
Warm water is poured over the hot stones every few minutes, creating a gentle herbal steam.
This vapor helps you breathe deeply, relax your muscles, balance your inner temperature, and calm your mind.
You can meditate, reflect, or simply enjoy the quiet warmth.
To finish, you may take a warm, cold, or hot shower—depending on your preference or the weather.
This temperature contrast stimulates circulation and leaves you feeling fresh, light, and renewed.
