Discover the beauty of Humantay Lake on a  guided tour, starting either from Cusco or directly from Skydome Peru. The journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive to Mollepata, where we make a stop for a light breakfast. Due to the altitude, we recommend avoiding heavy meals and instead bringing light snacks such as energy bars or chocolate, as digestion is slower at high elevations.

From Mollepata, we continue by vehicle to the trailhead, where you can prepare for the hike. The walk to Humantay Lake follows a mostly uphill trail, taken at a slow and steady pace. If needed, horses can be rented directly from local villagers.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the turquoise waters of Humantay Lake, surrounded by the majestic Humantay and Salkantay glaciers. We aim to arrive early to offer a quieter and more immersive experience. The return is entirely downhill, making the descent more comfortable.

After the hike, we return to Mollepata for lunch at a lower altitude, where you can relax and enjoy your meal comfortably. The tour then concludes with a return to Cusco or Skydome Peru, depending on your preference.
